Lest we forget

In the 1970s , when Awolowo was presidential aspirant for one party, MKO was asked to sponsor Shagari on behalf of another party a Northern Party.

The Northern Party did not have any money to campaign.  For the huge sums MKO spent on  campaigning for Shagari  the Arewa promised that after Shagari MKO would be the next president of Nigeria. 

1983 Buhari carried out a coup against Shagari government, then Babangida carried out a coup against Buhari, etc etc.

MKO thought the Arewa would keep their promise, like when have they ever kept their promises🙄 The end was his death, the death of his wife and the thousands of Yoruba who fought for his mandate.

In 2000 and something, Tinubu a poor student of history spent huge sums on a campaign to get the same Fulani buhari elected. The deal being once buhari was finished, Tinubu would be president of the colonial plantation Nigeria.

Tinubu and his followers like MKO think the Arewa will keep their promise, . These poor students of history should please let us know when in the last 62 years the Sahelians have given up power voluntarily?

Ps, this generation of Yoruba are Yoruba first and its a Yoruba nation, they want and will have.
